Minister for Racing Elise Archer announced that the Tasracing board has appointed Mr. Paul Eriksson to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Tasracing.

Mr. Eriksson has extensive leadership and financial management experience in a number of roles, including as General Manager- Finance and IT for Racing NSW and as the inaugural Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the GWS Giants.

Most recently, Mr. Eriksson has worked as the Group CFO for the Cronulla Sharks, and served as Acting CEO for 4 months in late 2017.

“I wish Mr. Eriksson well in the role and look forward to him continuing to implement the Hodgman Government’s strong plan to ensure sustainable growth of Tasmania’s racing industry.”

“I also thank Dr. Alicia Fuller, who has served as Acting CEO since mid-last year. Dr. Fuller will remain with Tasracing in the role of Operations Manager-Racing.” Minister Archer said.
