Along with its new location at Mindil Beach, the 2019 People’s Choice BASSINTHEGRASS music festival will be bigger and better than ever with a stellar line up confirmed for Saturday 18 May.

“We know events such as People’s Choice BASSINTHEGRASS play a vital role in enhancing the liveability and vibrancy of our city, which is so important in keeping people in the Territory.” Minister for Tourism Sport and Culture Lauren Moss said.

 

“With its new seaside location and an excellent line up of Australian music artists including ARIA award-winning singer-songwriter Amy Shark and Broods, I urge people of all ages to secure their tickets to what is anticipated to be the biggest and the best People’s Choice BASSINTHEGRASS music festival yet.”

Alphabetically listed are this year’s event features with some of the best names in Australian music including:

Local artists and the winner of Battle of the School Bands will also be performing at the 17th annual festival, and are yet to be announced.

  • Fans can snap up early bird tickets priced at $75.
  • General admission tickets will go on sale at $105.

Platinum package tickets are also available to 18+ at $220 for festival-goers seeking a luxury experience with access to a private bar, rooftop views and a food and drinks package.

“Darwin is such a beautiful spot and I can’t wait to get back there for this year’s People’s Choice BASSINTHEGRASS music festival at Mindil Beach.” Aria award-winning singer-songwriter Amy Shark said.

“I’m really excited to be back in the Territory for another Darwin show and look forward to performing a bunch of songs from my debut album Love Monster.”

12-hour People’s Choice BASSINTHEGRASS music festival will be held at Mindil Beach on Saturday 18 May starting at 11 am.
