- Graeme Gammie appointed as the new CEO of Landgate
Minister for Lands Ben Wyatt has announced the appointment of Graeme Gammie as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Landgate for a 5-year term commencing on March 5, 2019.
“I congratulate Mr. Gammie on his appointment. He will bring his extensive leadership experience from the public sector and is well placed to help ensure Landgate remains a leader in the industry.” Minister for Lands Ben Wyatt said.
“I also thank Mr. Bruce Roberts for his efforts as interim CEO since the departure of Ms. Cant.”
After a competitive nationwide search, Mr. Gammie was selected as the best person to lead the agency in its role as the guardian of property ownership in Western Australia.
Mr. Gammie has experience in a variety of senior roles across the Western Australian public service, including most recently serving as the acting assistant director general at the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage. He also serves as the deputy chairperson on the board of Fairbridge.
Bruce Roberts has been acting in the position since August 2018.
Landgate is the business name for the Western Australian Land Information Authority, a statutory authority that maintains and manages the State’s land titles register, provides impartial land valuation services and authoritative location information.
