Victoria Railway Improvements & Expansion

Victor P Taffa

Railway Improvements and Expansion as listed here are some Plans that would be implemented over a period of time in the same manner that the Railway Expansion Plans in www.isput.com.au are a 30 year Plan. These are in addition to Election Commitments announced by the Liberal/National Parties for the November 2010 State Election. Trams and Trains are not competitors but complement each other. These Plans have been drawn up with firsthand experience and use of the Melbourne UBD 2011 45th Edition Street Directory and Railway Industry Maps.

The Plans as announced by the Liberal/National Parties on 14 November 2010 with Editor Victor P Taffa in attendance are published in The Southern Thunderer and entitled Liberal Campaign Launch Plan Number 1-7 as contained in the Elections Page.

Copies of these additional plans have been sent to Victoria Minister for Public Transport Terry Mulder and other Baillieu Government Ministers.

Electrification and Duplication allows for both High-Speed Rail and existing V/Line Services to operate at a much cheaper cost as overheads are lower. This includes the Stony Point Line in Melbourne.
