Appeal for assistance following theft of property worth $80,000 – Erina Heights
Police attached to Brisbane Water Local Area Command are appealing for public assistance following the theft of property worth an estimated $80,000 from a house at Erina Heights on the State’s Central Coast.
Between 9.30am and 11am yesterday (Friday 29 January 2010), thieves entered a property on The Entrance Road and removed a number of items including jewellery, laptop computers, ipods, and three sets of triathlon bicycle racing wheels.
Specialist officers have forensically examined the premises and a canvass of the area has been conducted.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the theft are continuing and Police are appealing for public assistance.
Anyone who noticed any person/s acting suspiciously in the vicinity of The Entrance Road between 9.30am and 11am yesterday, or who witnessed any suspicious vehicles in the area, is asked to contact Brisbane Water Local Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
