Fatal crash – Dorrigo

A report will be prepared for the Coroner after the death of a woman in a crash in the State’s North yesterday.

About 5.45pm a Toyota Corolla sedan was travelling east on Waterfall Road, about 14km west of Dorrigo, when it collided head-on with a west bound stock truck.

The driver of the sedan, a 21-year-old Armidale woman, died at the scene.

Police from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command attended the scene and the road was blocked while Police conducted an investigation.

The 71-year-old truck driver assisted police with inquiries at the scene and attended Dorrigo Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
